Welcome to SPOI SPOI is a non-profit organization of the Ophthalmologists of Pakistani descent. It was established in 1998. We currently have over 50 members.
Our objectives are:
- To foster international networking among Ophthalmologists of Pakistani descent;
- To expand training in advanced medical and surgical therapies for Pakistani Ophthalmologists;
- To develop visiting professorship programs in Pakistan's academic institutions;
- To develop networks for surgical camps in rural Pakistan;
- To facilitate training opportunities abroad, such as residency, fellowship and research experience.
